Nari Shakti Yojana has been released by the Maharashtra government in June 2024 and under this, eligible women will be given ₹ 1,500 every month. To apply in this scheme, the age of women must be between 21 to 65 years, only then they are eligible to get financial assistance. Unmarried single women of the family can also apply. Those whose family income is more than ₹ 2,50,000 are not eligible.

This scheme was announced by Maharashtra Finance Minister Ajit Pawar while presenting the budget. Under this scheme, eligible women of Maharashtra are given financial assistance of Rs 1,500 every month. The Maharashtra government has allocated a budget of Rs 46,000 crore for this scheme.
