First Phase of AP Saswatha Bhu Hakku Bhu Raksha Scheme:
– The first phase of the scheme aims to cover 2.26 crore acres owned by nearly 90 lakh people.
– Land records of 12,776 individuals, comprising 29,563 acres of land in 51 villages, will be covered under this phase.
– The comprehensive land survey, the first in a century in the state, was carried out using state-of-the-art technology, including 1,500 rovers and 4,500 survey teams.
– A total of 3,304 objections pertaining to 29,563 acres were successfully resolved during the survey process.
– The measurements of the resurveyed lands will be determined with longitude and latitude, and both digital and hard copies of the records will be issued.
– The government has deployed 16,000 surveyors for the project, with an expected completion date of resurveying 3,345 square km of land in the state by June 2024.
– The scheme was implemented at a cost of Rs. 1,000 crore, employing modern geo-tagging and geo-satellite mapping technologies, 70 core base stations, and 2,000 rovers.
– Under the single window scheme, land documents with government guarantees will be issued after resurvey, making land transactions and obtaining bank loans on the lands easier.
